Although I traveled through and around Germany on numerous occasions, I never pegged the country as being big on color. This changed when I landed a job in Nuremberg, the capital of the Franconia region, and moved to the nearby city of Fürth. Here, you'll be hardly pressed to find a post-war building without at least a splash of color on its façade. These colorful houses not only brighten the city: they also make great photography subjects. So in my spare time, I wander around Fürth and Nuremberg, looking for colorful facades to capture.
